Your Board is at work, and we want you to know what we are doing. Plans are under way: -on a 1982-83 operating budget which will be mbmitted to the Center membership for approval
-on the updating of our telephone hotline information base and on training for its volunteers
-to develop a hand-out brochure about the Center
-to organize a membership drive for this fall.
We continue, each month, to provide two program nights and two (or three, if there is a firth Wednesday) informal coffeehouse evenings. Recent programs have been well received and drev large attendances.
Board meetings are open to any interested person. They are held at the First Unitarian Church on the second Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m.

DGAC NEWS
The Dayton Gay Rights Coalition is collecting information for documentation of area gay discrimination. If you or someone you know has been discriminated against because of real or assumed sexual preference/gayness, please meet us (anonymously) at the Dayton Free Clinic, 1133 Salm Ave, on Sept. 29 at 8 PM. If you are unable to attend, please contact us at DGRC, PO Box 821, Dayton, Ohio 45401. We will need details of the incident or situation involved, such as types of occupations, sex, age, and a general description of what happened.
The Coalition has a legislative comittee which meets for political action & strategy every other Wed, eve, at DGLC. The next meeting will be Sept. 29, 5:30 PM, in the sanctuary of the Unitarian Church, 665 Salom Avenue.

A monthly for women, period. A support group for Women identified Wonen = not limited to Lesbians. This is not a counseling group but is for sharing discussion on various topics held in homes of participants.

The group has grown from 15 women at the 1st meeting 5 months ago, to about 43 women in August. No money or membership required. Topics so far have been coming out/ spirituality/ relationships/ Michigan Women's Music Festival.
